Edmondo, before anyone else
Big Mamma Group have just opened in the City, and we’ve secured one of the private dining rooms at the launch lunch.
If the name doesn’t land, the others will: Gloria, Circolo Popolare, Ave Mario. The same team, now in a Grade II-listed building on Lombard Street, done out in full 1930s Milanese glamour.
The menu is towering focaccia, handmade pasta and a spice-crusted steak already being talked about as the signature dish. The room is ours for the afternoon.
Getting a table here at all will be difficult for months. Getting one before it opens properly is a different thing entirely.
Same playbook, faster attacker
AI hasn’t given attackers a new playbook. It’s let them run the old one at a speed most defences weren’t built for.
New vulnerabilities weaponised within days. Social engineering that scales without losing its credibility. Access through valid accounts, where nothing looks wrong because technically nothing is.
Alan Simpson from Rapid7 and Tori Mittens from Saepio will talk through what they’re seeing on the front line and, more usefully, how security teams are deciding where to focus first.
Chatham House rules, a table of peers, and a conversation rather than a presentation. No slides.
